Rebecca Janicker is Associate Professor in Horror Media at the University of Portsmouth. She has published numerous chapters and articles on horror and her most recent edited collection, The Scientist in Popular Culture: Playing God and Working Wonders (Lexington, 2022), allowed her to explore the age-old connection between science and horror fiction.
